Riverhead Recreational Athletic Club
JOIN THIS brand new club for access to bike, run and walk programs and events. We need your support to create programs for all ages. A club will give you a voice. Please join us at monthly meetings, serve on our board and help develop a fit and active community. All are welcome!

Annual membership: $25
Programs: $10 members / $25 non-members
Races/events: Members $25 (15k), $15 (5k)
Non-members $35 (15k), $25 (5k)

BACK ON THE PATH:
5K and 15K RUN/WALK

Join the club and participate in our first members only trail event! 5k out and back proceeding south to a turnaround just past the Line Road gates and back to the start. The 15k will proceed north and run the full loop clockwise start and finish at the Start Here sign. We all start together.​

TAKE A HIKE
February is hiking month and hunting season has ended. Join us at Veterans Memorial Park as we explore the trails right here in the Town of Riverhead. This is an introductory course to hiking, tick prevention and proper dress will also be covered.

WALKING COUCH TO 5K

Walking is the best exercise for weight loss and good health. Need help getting started? Walk with us at the newly completed Veterans Memorial Park Recreational Trail. All levels welcome, including strollers! We start with the basics. We start from where you are now. Your pace, your distance. You will be individually coached ad supported. Beginner runners can start with a walk/run program and with training and consistency will walk less and run more.​

RUN WITH US

Runners and race walkers can join us for a paced run at a set distance. We will work together to build a base distance and/or speed for each individual. Set your goals with our coach and build up slow. Keep a workout log and improve at your own pace.​

A perfect blend of yoga and Pilates for men and women, taught by a dancer/athlete. Open level. Class is designed for beginners to advanced because of the variations given. Comfortable clothing and yoga mat.

POUND WORKOUT
Pound is a group fitness class that combines cardio, strength training and pilates with drumming to achieve a full body workout. Using lightly weighted drumsticks (Ripstix) participants can expect to burn between 500-900 calories per class. Ripstix will be provided, just bring a yoga mat and water!

FAT BURNER for BEGINNERS
Join Coach Liz at CrossFit Impervious for this new class! Fat burner exercises are geared towards burning calories and fat and localizing the areas of the body that require toning up to give you the body you want. This is a class that is solely designed as a fat burner. We will be elevating your heart rate for the 45 minute core phase of the class. 4 classes.​
