You can register in person at either of our office locations, over the phone by calling during office hours, or by clicking the registration links below.
When registering online for the first time a registrant will be asked to create a family account before signing up for any programs. Family accounts must be established prior to registering over the phone or online. You can make changes to your online account by calling our office at (631) 727-3200 ext. 205
Current proof of residency is required when registering for classes with each new year. Acceptable proofs of residency can include a current tax bill, utility bill, a rental or lease agreement, or driver’s license.

Community Day 
Celebrate Trails Day 
It’s #CelebrateTrails Day and in collaboration with the Alternate Transportation Committee, we are offering a bicycle trail safety presentation followed by our first Trail Clean up Day! Join us to learn about safety and trail riding etiquette then cruise the trail by bicycle or foot to help us clean up our corner of the planet. There will be garbage drop-off stations located throughout the trail so you don’t have to carry it far. Then on June 25th at 10:00 am join us with the Riverhead Police Department for a bike skills session followed by a trail clean-up.

ROller Rink Nights
​Roller skates are making a come back! Join us at the Stotzky Park roller rink for Roller Rink Nights the second Friday of each month. We’ll have DJ Beef playing your favorites while you get to skate, dance, and socialize. We will have some skates for rental or bring your own! Recreate or discover those nights at the roller disco while making new memories under the setting sun.

Moonlight Kyack Tours
​Join us for an experience of a lifetime. We will watch the sun set as the moon rises and paddle along the Peconic River with only the glow lights provided and the full moon above to guide us. You will see the river come alive at night and experience an indescribable adventure along the way. Experienced paddlers preferred. Pre-registration is required.

​We’re switching up the course this time and running from the GYCC to Miamogue. The run will culminate in a mini beach party with refreshments and games. tOUCH A TRUNK
Touch a Truck is back! Families are invited to join us for this exciting community event. Children will have the opportunity to touch, climb on, sit in and experience many of the trucks and vehicles they see in their everyday life and community. Very small children and those with sensitive ears are invited during “quiet time” from 1:00-1:30pm so they can enjoy the vehicles without the noise of horns and sirens.

25TH aNNUAL sNAPPER tOURNAMENT
The focus of this tournament is to get youth and adults involved in fishing and to raise money for the Recreation Department’s Scholarship Fund. Prizes include Rod/Reel to the 1st Place winner in each division and trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division. Raffle prizes from local merchants will also be given out immediately following the tournament. T-shirts will only be available for the first 50 registrants. We strongly encourage you to pre-register to choose your T-shirt size. On-site registration will begin at the Town Dock at 10:00am.

A favorite returns! Enjoy the ride to the Bronx Zoo to see all of their amazing animals, exhibits, and rides. The great thing about The Bronx Zoo is you can’t see it all in one day. So, this time around let us do the driving so you can just enjoy the day. All ages are welcome as this is a great trip to begin the summer family activities.

Mrs. Doubtfire on Broadway CANCELED
Broadway is open again and that means so are our Broadway trips! Based on the 1993 movie, reviewers have called Mrs. Doubtfire “A good time for all ages” with music/ lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick, and book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell. The charter bus will drop you off with time to get lunch before the 3:00 pm curtain where you’ll enjoy the show from rear orchestra seating.

Dog Obedience

Guitar for Beginners-new

Adult Clay Workshop -NEW
​Using clay slabs, participants will be able to roll textures and patterns into the clay and then form them into a hanging vase, planter, or letter holder. Essential Steps to Healthy Aging
How we take care of ourselves throughout our lives, both physically and mentally, has a tremendous impact on our health and quality of life as we grow older. ​The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

Infant/Child CPR & Choking
