valentines for seniors
The staff at the Recreation Department are collecting Valentines to be distributed to our town's  Meals on Wheels recipients. Beginning on February 1st, please submit Valentine cards to the red drop box outside of the Recreation entrance near the flagpole at the Senior Center.  We will be accepting Valentines at the 60 Shade tree Lane office until February 10th. We hope these cards, crafts, or drawings will bring some joy to our Seniors!

Summer camp and teen camp update
We are currently waiting on news from the school district as to whether we will be able to utilize their buildings for camp.  As of now, we are planning for camp to be held at the GYCC, opening first to returning campers, then new resident campers, followed by returning non-residents, and finally new non-resident campers. Updates can be found here on our website, and as we get closer to the start of registration, a Summer Camp drop down will be added to the website's menu for easy access to information and necessary forms. We hope to have more information soon, and will also post updates via our Facebook page.  Thank you for your patience. If you have further questions, please contact Liz at 631-727-3200 ext. 740 or at keller@townofriverheadny.gov.
